I'd like to welcome everyone to my blog site and look forward to getting to know you all! I've am married to Jim, and we have three sons. They are 24, 16, and 12. They are also my pride and joy. I have been a nurse since age 19 and throughly believe it to be my calling to help other feel better. I am a certified personal trainer and an aerobics instructor also. It is my firm belief that as a healthcare professional I should "Walk the talk", when it comes to educating people on living a healthier lifestyle. Simply put, it means I believe that healthcare workers need to practice what they "preach" to others.
Since my husband and I have lost a total of 150 pounds and still counting, we know a little about what it means to live healthier. Good nutrition and a proper mindet are two of the most important ingredients to a successful outcome.
